True Self Recovery offers a variety of evidence-based substance abuse, drug and alcohol treatment programs in the heart of Arkansas. Offering the highest level of clinical and medical care ensures lasting sobriety, personal growth, and lifelong recovery.

Veterans Track

We understand and appreciate that our Veterans have often struggle with different issues than civilians. Because of this, we offer a specific Veterans track. This can include additional specialty Trauma Therapy. We also coodinate with the VA on your behalf if needed.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is an extensively researched, effective psychotherapy method proven to help people recover from trauma and other distressing life experiences, including PTSD, anxiety, depression, and panic disorders.

Brainspotting Therapy in combination with a certified therapist, while similar to EMDR, focuses specifically on the fusion between trauma and addictive behaviors.

Medical Detox

Our Inpatient Medical Detox program helps clients who are struggling with alcohol or substances daily. The goal is to safely remove the alcohol and/or substances from the body. We do offer medications to assist with this when appropriate. Each client meets with our doctor upon arrival. We have 24/7 medical staff onsite and TVs in every bedroom. We are 100% voluntary and we’ve built our detox program to be as safe and as comfortable as possible. A typical stay in Detox ranges from 7-14 days.

Residential Treatment (Phase 1)

Inpatient Residential follows detox. This is when we start working on ourselves and begin to learn new coping skills. Each treatment plan is individualized for each person. Each client works with a counselor, our doctor, and our clinical team. An individualized treatment plan can include help with addiction, depression, PTSD, and work with the family. It’s based on each client’s needs. A typical stay at Residential can vary between 7-21 days, depending on what the treatment plan looks like.

Outpatient + Supportive Housing (Phase 2)

To simplify this, Residential treatment focuses on how we got here, which things we need to work on, and developing a unique and actionable plan for each client. Outpatient in combination with a supportive housing component is more forward-looking. We will continue with clinical services while also reintegrating back into normal life. This can include help with job/ school, adventure therapy (link), attending outside meetings, and really a focus on building a foundation and practicing a healthy routine while maintaining a high level of support and accountability. Outpatient can range from 30 – 90 days, depending on each individual’s needs and goals.

This is a wonderful place that really helps individuals find their self after they have battled some addictions. They help them learn to love themself again and learn to get back on their feet!!! Such an amazing treatment center! From the very first phone call I made to them, to my graduation 4 months later, I was always treated with dignity, love, compassion, and urgency. My treatment team always took my recovery as seriously as I did, and at times, even more seriously than I could muster. I went to the Berryville campus for a month and then moved to the Rogers location.

True Self Recovery is amazing they have truly saved my life. I have been to several treatment centers and this place is just different they truly care about your health and wellness. Amber is the extra most bestest. Like the pizza.. For real though, I feel like they are my family and best friends. They care even when you think they don't. I have struggled with addiction since the age of 12. I am turning 34 in November. This place has an amazing group of people that have experienced their own struggles in addition! True Self Recovery has been the best decision I have ever made! It’s Raw and it’s Real! Today I am clean and sober and have a huge community behind me backing me up everyday! This program works if you work it! The counselors here have been over and beyond such a great part of my recovery!

My name is Kris and my sobriety date is 9-16-18. In order to maintain my sobriety, I have to keep myself around the right people and practice my program on a daily. True Self Recovery has a great staff, one counselor in particular Amber Hintz, has been a great benefit to me over the past year.
