True Dual-Diagnosis Treatment

According to a recent summary of important research by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (or, SAMHSA), according to one study, 50 percent of clients in a group setting with a mental illness had a co-occurring substance use disorder.

We explore how co-occurring mental and substance use disorders pose special challenges when addressing quality of care in addiction treatment.  Research findings suggest that these individuals may be less likely to enter or remain in addiction treatment programs and, upon entering treatment, may be at increased risk for receiving inadequate care.

It’s true that our clients with problems such as depression, anxiety, and PTSD need our help. But if an addictive behavior is not also addressed at the same time, any efforts we might otherwise make on these symptoms will be dramatically limited. True Self Recovery helps with this process.

Referring Clients to True Self Recovery

At True Self Recovery, we work with our team of medical professionals and clinicians to help people with addiction problems.

The clinicians who send their clients to us have confidence in our rigorous clinical program. In addition, they know we are committed to our promise to maintain communication with them throughout the process. The relationships we build with clinicians who entrust us with the care of their clients are very important to us and we do not take that trust lightly.

You and the population that you serve deserve the best treatment. We would like to be your partner in helping your clients move forward in their recovery, and we want to keep you informed about your clients treatment and aftercare.

Intake Assessment

It is important for clients to have a thorough intake process so they know the expectations of their stay, what they need to do before arrival, and they feel welcomed when they arrive.

We work with your client as an individual and tailor our services to meet their needs. We understand that every person is different and that all people with the disease of addiction need specific help tailored to each individual’s needs.
